The International Association for Ontology and its Applications (IAOA) is happy to announce ISAO 2018: The Fourth Interdisciplinary School on Applied Ontology, which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa between September 10 and September 15, 2018 (the week before FOIS 2018 will be held also in Cape Town South Africa between September 17 and September 21 2018).

World-class experts in different disciplines (Ontology Design, Logics, Philosophy, Knowledge Representation, Cognitive Science) will meet for a week with students, researchers and practitioners, and present courses in complementary aspects of Applied Ontology.

The summer school will be a full immersion experience in ontology, during which the experts will present their research, will engage with participants, and practical problems will be addressed in ontological hackathons.
